About Lamha
Lamha is a daily briefing that selects the most important stories from trusted Arab and international outlets and presents them in short, neutral summaries you can read in minutes.
How we work
- Throughout the day, we monitor the feeds of a curated group of established news organizations.
- When several outlets report the same event, we group their coverage into a single story, so you read it once instead of five times.
- We select up to 10 stories a day using clear criteria: impact, how many independent outlets covered the story, how recent it is, and a healthy balance across sections.
- Summaries are drafted with the help of AI (Anthropic's Claude) under strict editorial instructions: neutrality, accuracy, attribution of contested claims, and no information that is not in the original reporting.
- Every story links to its original source, and we always encourage you to read the full coverage there.
About the photos
Photos are illustrative stock images from Unsplash, selected automatically to match each story's topic and tone, then checked by an AI review step. They are not taken at the scene of the events. Each photo credits its photographer.
What we are not
Lamha does not produce field reporting or publish opinion. Automated summaries can contain mistakes; if you spot one, please tell us and we will correct it.
