Two new studies published in Nature detail archaeological finds in Chinese caves, including seven Denisovan fossils along with bone and stone tools, fossilized pollen, and animal remains. The discoveries offer researchers new insight into how this mysterious ancient human relative lived in coniferous forests roughly 134,000 to 167,000 years ago.
